Alleyway
de_alleyway is a CS:GO map made for the Wingman gamemode in which an Attacking and a Defending team compete for the win. Attackers (Ts) need to plant a C4 explosive on a "Bomb site" in order to win a round, while Defenders (CTs) have to counter the Ts offensive.
Wingman maps usually have only one bombsite and so does Alleyway, however the tight timings this map is designed around won't let time for mistakes to be made, and give an "area control" dimension to the map. (more explanations further down)
Areas & their roles
Site : Action will eventually revolve around it as the Ts goal is to attack it and plant the bomb and the CTs goal is to prevent the Ts from doing just that (screenshot 1)
Heaven : Attacking and Deffensive path giving the Ts and CTs sight on the site and makes for a perfect pressuring position for the enemy team (top half of screenshot 1)
Under Heaven : Deffensive position for the CTs, recluse and discrete it allows for sneaky plays (screenshot 2)
Underpath : Alternative attacking path giving the Ts access to Under Heaven (right side of screenshot 2)
Mid : Large fighting area that allows for a better team synergy when taken control of in the beginning of a round as it gives access to further rotations such as CT and T spawns (screenshot 3)
Double Doors : Main entrance from Mid to Site (top left of screenshot 3)
How to play
Expand the "More information" tab below and click on the Steam link. There you will be able to "Subscribe" meaning that will add the map to your library in CS:GO in the "Workshop Maps" tab.
It took me 4 to 5 days to complete this project. Have fun playing it!
