Ultradavid

Ultradavid is a fast-paced 2D platformer made with the intent to create a really hard and challenging game for gaming masters.

Finished, the game would have featured a "Story" mode as well as an "Arena Mode".

Unfortunately, it's developpement is on hold and will probably never resume.

Arena

The Arena mode is pretty straight forward, you're in an arena, carrying 2 weapons, fighting to survive. The longer you live, the more points you get.

Campaign

The Campaign mode stars DAVID, an American farmer that always carriers 2 weapons: a shotgun, and a rocket-launcher. Although he lived a happy and calm life, everything crumbled when he was  faced with unfathomable horror: Demons are invading earth and mankind has but him as its savior (that's right, Jesus is not cannon in this universe). DAVID, fully aware that he has the fate of the whole world in his hands, goes onto a journey to kill the demon's leader.  DAVID eventually finds out that the leader of this hellish invasion is  what he fears most, himself, but ULTRA: ULTRADAVID. DAVID has to fight his ULTRA DEMONIC TWIN to save the world and go back to his happy and calm life.

Controls

Q | D - Move left or right

Z | Spacebar - Jump

S | LeftShift - Slam

Left Mouse Click - Shoot

Right Mouse Click - Change Weapons

It took me 3 months to get this demo in a playable state as this was my first LUA project. Have fun with it!
